Grand Tour Autumn – Villa Mas Figueres
Two 70th birthdays. Three generations. Thirty people. Six nights. What could possibly go wrong?
Karl-Erik and Soila have brought their children and grandchildren to Villa Mas Figueres for a family holiday in Spain. There’s a pool to splash in, matches to argue over and a PlayStation to negotiate custody of. Peace and quiet may require leaving the property.
Eight cooking crews will take turns feeding the family, putting teamwork, timing and everyone’s opinions to the test. Expect long dinners, questionable refereeing and the occasional family scandal over who left the kitchen like that.
A little chaos, plenty of laughter—and six nights we’ll be talking about for years.
7 days
Long enough to make memories. Short enough to remain on speaking terms. Plenty of time to discover who snores through walls and who considers midnight a reasonable bedtime for children.
8 crews
Eight cooking teams, two kitchens and thirty mouths to feed. A chance to show off your signature dish—and discover how many relatives can supervise without lifting a finger.
5,000 m²
A tennis court, football pitch, basketball court and a games room with two PS4 racing setups and a pool table. Plenty of space for friendly competition—and relatives who insist it wasn’t a foul.
10 bedrooms
And just as many toilets. Like a small hotel, where the service is only as good as you are—because you’re the staff. Complaints can be addressed to the mirror. The best spot by the pool? Already reserved by someone’s towel.

The Villa
Villa Mas Figueres has more rules than a maximum-security prison—and we received them before departure, presumably so we could reconsider. The rules so bizarre, the fines would make a dictatorship blush, and suddenly the cheapest activity is standing perfectly still. Assuming that’s allowed.

Resources

Tennis court
Settle old scores with a few new ones. Blame the racket, the sun or your partner—anything but your technique.

Basketball court
Big shots, bold claims and mostly big misses. Everyone’s a professional until someone starts keeping score. Rules are simple: No blood, no foul.

Football field
Family loyalty ends at kick-off. Expect questionable tackles, disputed goals and at least three self-appointed referees. But the can be bought.

Gaming area
All the ambition. None of the cardio. Race, compete and explain why losing was entirely the controller’s fault.
